Port Authority will reroute all inbound Light Rail Transit service through Allentown starting at 8 tonight to perform track work between South Hills Junction and Station Square. Outbound service will not be affected.

The detour will add about five minutes to travel times, spokesman Jim Ritchie said.

Inbound riders bound for Station Square should exit at South Hills Junction and board an inbound bus.

The work is expected to be completed by the start of service Wednesday.
