A mangled tractor-trailer that crashed this morning has blocked traffic on East Carson Street on the South Side, emergency dispatchers said.

The truck and trailer crashed at about 11:10 a.m. between Hot Metal Street and Becks Run Road.

The collision caused the rig to split in two, blocking Carson to traffic.

No injuries were reported.
