A warrant has been issued for a New Castle man in a Saturday shooting in Union, Lawrence County.

State police have filed attempted homicide and other charges against Todd Walker, 22, who is accused of shooting Russell Harris, 34, of New Castle in the chest and the stomach with an assault-style rifle.

Police have not uncovered a motive for the shooting. Mr. Harris was listed in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.
