Police said 14-year-old boy made a grisly discovery yesterday when he returned to his North Side home and found his older brother dead from a gunshot to the head.
Raemon Gray, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene, 301 Kennedy Ave., just after 5 p.m. after the 14-year-old alerted neighbors, who called police and medics.
Mr. Gray's body was discovered in a second-floor bedroom. Lt. Dan Herrmann declined to comment on a motive for the slaying and said detectives are still searching for witnesses.
Police think Mr. Gray was shot sometime between 1 and 5 p.m. and they have not recovered a weapon.
