A 73-year-old man was killed and a woman critically injured in a one-car accident on a snowy road in Armstrong County yesterday.

County Coroner Robert T. Bower said the crash occurred at 2:15 p.m. on Worthington-Slate Lick Road at Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin. The driver was killed instantly, Mr. Bower said, and the woman was taken to UPMC Presbyterian. Identifications were withheld pending notification of relatives.
