GETout spotlight

Cook Forest work day: Oct. 18

Cook Forest State Park is recruiting volunteers to help out with some routine housekeeping. The Woodsy Owl Workday includes invasive species removal, trail maintenance, litter pickup, painting, wood stacking and other outdoor chores. If that doesn't sound like enough fun, lunch is provided and the park throws in free overnight camping for volunteers who make prior arrangements.
