The Mt. Lebanon school board chose P.J. Dick Inc. as the construction manager for the high school renovation project.
The selection was made during an Oct 2 special meeting. The board based its choice on the fact that the P.J. Dick firm has worked as construction manager and general contractor for 10 regional school districts since 1993.
Among the high school projects the firm handled are Upper St. Clair, Baldwin, Montour, Allegheny Valley and Center Area.
Because of the several-week delay in choosing a construction manager, the schedule of community discussion meetings will be revised. A community forum originally scheduled for Oct. 29 in the high school auditorium has been postponed. No new date has been set. Likewise, community meetings at Markham, Jefferson and Howe elementaries will be rescheduled.
