Allegheny County police were investigating a late-night home invasion in Sharpsburg in which one person was injured.

Around 11:30 last night, three men in ski masks entered a home in the 400 block of Short Canal Street, county dispatchers said.

Two of them brandished pistols; the third had a shotgun. One person was injured, though the extent of his injuries was unknown.

The trio fled the home, dispatchers said, but it was unknown whether they were in a vehicle or on foot.
